Freezing temperatures and possibly snow are headed to southwest Montana this weekend...the earliest start to a stretch of cold weather that I believe I have ever experienced. Bundle up and pray that we can make up the days with an Indian summer later on. :)
Finding the perfect day to experience fall colors inside Yellowstone National Park is going to be unpredictable this year. Soon we'll be experiencing freezing temperatures and snowy weather, here in the Bozeman area...which means that The Park will be experiencing the same, but colder. In a nutshell...Get into The Park when there's a sunny day, the first week of October. :)
Fall in Yellowstone National Park is almost here. Do you know where you'll find the most animals and color? The northern section of The Park from Mammoth Hot Springs over to the Lamar River Valley is a good bet. Explore The Park today; and, know where you'll be before you even get here. :)
Keep your fingers crossed that we get an Indian summer this year. Fall will soon be here; and, we want it to last as long as possible...There's lots of fly fishing and hunting to be done. :)
Do you know where you'll be on the Madison River, this fall. In this photo, just across the river, is a pretty cool campground. Imagine waking up on a brisk morning to a crackling fire; and, getting your gear ready for a day of fly fishing for browns on the Madison River...Trout Country. :)
