Visit the canyon and the northeast section of Yellowstone National Park to experience the Yellowstone River in all its fall glory. You'll even spot the 'yellow stone' found along the banks of the river...Something I like to think is the namesake for The Park. :)
Pick the right day to be fly fishing and you'll be treated to the most spectacular display of colors along the Yellowstone River, this fall. Emigrant is perhaps my favorite location to experience fall fly fishing. Have you made your fall fly fishing plans yet? :)
In a few weeks, fall colors and fly fishing will be right down the road. Axtell Bridge is minutes away from downtown Bozeman and is a favorite locals' fishing hole. Have you made your plans to be here this fall? :)
The elk rut in and around Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park is on...From the first weeks of September, well into October, large numbers of elk will be exhibiting the fascinating ritual. Here's your chance to witness and here the bugle of a bull elk...from a safe distance, of course. :)
The Blacktail Plateau Drive, inside Yellowstone National Park, is one of my favorite drives...especially in the fall. If you're lucky enough to pick the right day and time, you'll be treated to a bevy of wildlife, including buffalo and bighorn rams, as well as aspen trees in all the fall color glory. Have you made your plans to visit The Park this fall, yet? :)
