Schusters Place is another in a long list of places that a wade fly fisherman can go on the Madison River. With camping and dining just minutes away, this may be your first stop in your exploration of the Madison River and Trout Country. :)
Head to Ghost Village for a sunny day of fly fishing and perhaps a mid-day excursion to an historical monument. The Earthquake Lake Visitor Center is nearby and will provide you with the answer to why this beautiful section of the Madison River is called Ghost Village. Enjoy! :)
With the Gallatin still trying to purge the added creek fed milk water from the recent rains, the upper Madison River is your best bet for a spectacular day of fly fishing. So, what are you waiting for? Get yourself to the upper Maddie. :)
Our summer green color won't be fading anytime soon. A hike along the upper Madison River at Three Dollar Bridge is enough of a reminder of how much snow we had this past winter. The wild flowers are out in force along the rivers of southwest Montana. Get out and enjoy! :)
