It’s the middle of winter and, outside, there’s over a foot of snow on the ground. Folks, it’s time to think warmer thoughts.
Spring is not too far away and our arctic landscape will eventually break way to sounds of rushing water and birds chirping.
A spot like this on the lower Madison River, just outside of Bozeman, Montana, will soon be transformed into a stream of actively feeding trout.
Sharing the river with a flock of American White Pelicans definitely means that good times have returned to Big Sky Country.
Like anything good that comes in this life, you have to prepare for it, however. Right now is the perfect time to plan your trip to Montana. The rewards of doing so are posted here and on the rest of this web site.
Use Montana Treasures Explore pages and Photo Maps to determine exactly where you want to fish and hike in Big Sky Country.
If, like most people, this is to be a once in a lifetime trip, then you’ll probably want to do more than just fly fish too. Montana Treasures has Explore pages and Photo Maps for Montana Hiking as well as for Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.
